I met Shea and Josh at a Lucinda Williams & Paul Kelly concert a week before there wedding. Shea hadn’t organised the flowers for the big day and was very relaxed about it, it seemed like destiny when we started talking about flowers and that she still needed a florist.
Shea’s bridesmaid Janelle sent me a few images of things they liked (pretty, bright colours, pinks, roses and natives). I was also sent an image of the gorgeous baby blue bridesmaids dresses and they said to just do what I thought was best (a total dream.)
When I looked at the weather report it said it was going to be a scorcher 45 degrees! The native combo with strong pretty european blooms fit the occasion and the weather report perfectly.
In the bouquets: Blue Gum, King Protea, Celosia, Scented Rose varieties: Tenderness and Pacific Blue, gum nuts & Peony roses. The boys button holes were made from blue gum, gum nuts and wild forest daisy.
Thanks and congratulations Shea and Josh, you are such a gorgeous couple!
